This page explains how to delete your personal data from Embellish. You can delete your account directly inside the app at any time, or send an email request if you no longer have app access.
What data we store
When you use Embellish, we store the following data associated with your account:

How to delete your data
Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from within Embellish:
- Open the app and go to Account
- Tap Delete account
- Review what will be removed, then tap Delete my account
Deletion is processed immediately and cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Email request
If you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion by email:
- Send an email to contact@arkaden.nl
- Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your Embellish account
Email requests are processed within 30 days of receipt and confirmed via email when complete.
What gets deleted
Whether you delete your account in the app or via email request, we permanently remove:
- Your authentication account and login credentials
- All saved designs (original photos and AI-generated images)
- Your credit balance and transaction history
- Device claim records
- Your payment provider record
Local data stored on your device (cached files, auth tokens) will be cleared automatically when you uninstall the app or log out.
